Of Traffic Lights and Dosas..

Traffic lights dosa and chutney

Saturday.
Dusted, wiped mirrors, glasses, bathrooms and the tasks no one else likes to do.
While Husband made a fragrant delicious South Indian vegan version of Thai yellow curry.
Is there even such a dish?
There’s always a first.
Went for long, long walk with husband.
Left instructions with the girls to kindly complete long overdue vacuuming and dusting.
Got home, lunch, music, K drama.
Announced to family that dinner would be special.
Dropped a hint here and there.
“Traffic lights”.

Inspired by the talented @george.sheeba.
A great way to get little ones to eat their veges.
In this case, my little ones are older than 20.
Traffic lights dosa.
Red, pink actually, dosa batter with beetroot juice.
Green, dosa batter with spinach juice.
Yellow, dosa batter with turmeric powder.

Served with a lemony, coconut, ginger, green chilli, curry leaves, coriander leaves chutney. Tempered with mustard seeds, cummin seeds, hing, dried red chillies, urad dhall/white lentils, curry leaves.

Then, settled down to continue watching Netflix’s Money Heist.
