





A Saturday lunch.
Fresh vegetables, stuffed in vege drawer of fridge.
Spoilt for choice.
Stared at the fresh french beans and the cauli glared back.
The brinjals flattened under the portobello and button mushrooms, too.
To appease them, decided to cook them all.
So, made onion garlic free
- Beans thoren
- Cauli roast
And - Tender jackfruit/Polos curry with goraka/garcinia to give that slightly sour kick
- Brinjal hot curry
- Also tried to magically transform, please don’t frown, the sabudana kichdi (sago lightly spiced dish) into some form of cutlet by adding mashed potatoes, moist bread slices, and lemon juice.
- All of the above went quite well with a simple, fluffy, rice cummin and turmeric rice.
- And yoghurt.
