Wanted to make potatoes I drooled over in a @alankanreviews post.
Steamed cubed potatoes to soften,
Sliced 2 large onions, got the chilli flakes and lemon juice ready,
Then..
I had to, just had to..
adulterate the original recipe by
Adding soy protein.
Fried onions, soy faux-meat, ginger, added chilli powder instead of chilli flakes, potatoes until well coated and crispy. Did not add lemon juice, instead generously sprinkled toasted sesame seeds.
Tasted great with white rice for the fanily and quinoa/brown rice for me.
