Saturday.
Husband suggested we invite some friends over for dinner.
Under normal circumstances, would have agreed, but told him that I didn’t want to tire myself as I had an extremely long, important day ahead.
Surprisingly those very friends called to invite us over that night.
The morning started off with a visit from a young friend. Asked him to stay on for lunch but he had another engagement so made cheesy toasties and a hot mug of Milo.
Lovely chat then Daughter#1’s friend came home.
Served up Nasi Lemak for lunch, a Malaysian meal of rice cooked in coconut milk with screwpine leaves, chilli sambal, stir fried greens, peanuts, cucumber and vegan anchovies look alike – fried dried mushrooms.
A short nap.
Had dinner at a friend’s home. Delicious food, conversation and company.
Draped a double toned olive/maroon cotton saree with maroon and gold borders and pallu for an evening dinner and a Masterclass. Mismatched with a multicoloured striped silk blouse.
Had registered for a music Masterclass at 7.30pm IST ie. 2am NZT.
Got home by 11pm, practised a little, set up the computer, adjusted the video screens, then waited..
And at 2am, the class commenced.
Tips, techniques, absolute treasure trove of wisdom.
Students from all over the world attended.
My student from the UK and a student in Auckland participated too.
Got to bed at 4am, on such a high that I only dozed off at 5am 😴
